So how do you look after your Wood Bistro Set so it looks good for many years to come?

One a year you will need to reseal the wood to stop it drying out, it's best to look at the manufatures instructions to see which treatment would be the best, it might need to be oiled, stained or varnished but the preparation will be the same.

So you will need

1. A soft rag
2. A rubber sanding block
3. fine sandpaper
4. a soft clean paint brush
5. And the treatment you will use to seal the wood

First step is to get a rag and wipe it over your wood bistro table set, if it needs it wash simply by wiping down with a cloth wrung from a soapy solution of mild washing-up liquid.

Warning : Make sure to leave your furniture to dry before you move onto the next step.

Next get your rubber standing block and lightly rub the wood this will remove any residue on the furniture.

Next use a very fine sandpaper and give your wooden bistro set a light sanding, don't use a course sandpaper as this will leave stratches on the surface.

Once all the furniture has been sanded down get a dry rag and wipe the furniture down to remove any dust.

Then you are ready to coat your wooden furniture with the coating you have choosen.

Use a clean soft brush but don't put to much of the treatment on the brush otherwise you will have drips and runs and you will need to start the procees again.

Take your time and get a goos even finish.

Once you have treated all the furniture leave to dry over night in dry area.
