When you have a small space the best way to see if it will fit is to measure the space and make a template out of some paper to see if the table and chairs will fit. Bistro tables do come in different sizes so check the diameter and then make you paper template. To make a circular template get a large piece of paper a drawing pin, a thick piece of cardboard, some string a pencil a ruler and some scissors.

1. Put your cardboard on the floor and then put the paper on top making sure the cardboard is in the centre.
2. Then attach the string to the drawing pin and attach it to the paper and cardboard.
3. Measure the string so it's half the diameter of the table you are looking to buy and attached the pencil.
4. You might need some help with the next bit.
5. Ask someone to hold the drawing pin in place as you draw a circle, pull the string tight and mark out your circle.
6. Once you have marked it out cut the circle out and place it in position.

This will give you an idea to how much space you have, plus you will see if you have enough room to put your chairs around your table.
It will also save you a lot of time and heartache, you might think you have found the perfect bistro garden furniture only to find when you get it home it's to big, or you could have bought a slightly larger table.
